Lutheran Cathedral

We are staying for one week one block from this amazing cathedral.  I take photos of it daily.  It was built during the years of 1945 - 1986.  It is called Hallgrimskirkja, the church of Hallgrimur, who was an Icelandic poet, clergyman, and author of the Passion Hymns:  50 hymns which explore the Passion narrative from when Christ enters the garden of Gesthemane to his death and burial. They have been set to music by many Icelandic composers.
